About

AI Overview Checker exists to answer one question quickly: when someone searches your keyword, does Google put an AI Overview above the results, and who gets the credit in it?

The AI Overview Checker on the homepage loads a live Google results page for the keyword and country you choose. It shows the overview’s text, the sites it cites, the other features on the page and the top organic results. Add your domain and the report marks where you appear, both among the cited sources and in the organic list. The results page comes from SE Ranking’s SERP data.

The blog covers how AI Overviews pick their sources, which kinds of queries trigger them, and what tends to earn a page a citation.

How checks work

Anyone can run 3 checks a day without signing up. A new check takes up to a minute, because the results page is fetched fresh rather than read from an archive. Every report shows the day Google’s page was collected.

If a report looks wrong, write to the site owner with the keyword, the country and what you saw in Google yourself, and we will compare the two.
